After a carrier-denied storm claim was resolved through appraisal, this San Antonio roof received the funded tear-off, deck repairs and complete replacement it required.
The storm claim was initially under-scoped with repair money only. Texas Roof Guardians re-documented the roof, filed a supplement, and the policy's appraisal process ultimately funded a full replacement.
During tear-off, the crew uncovered deck rot where prior flashings had failed. Damaged sheathing was replaced before synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water protection and the new shingle system were installed. The low-slope rear section was tied in with modified bitumen for a watertight transition.
